FAQs
Can parents attend junior classes?
Yes. Junior classes are free to watch. For all other workshops levels or the showcase, parents will need a visitor pass.
Is the audition/showcase/battle included in the pass?
All Access passes include entry to workshops, the audition class, showcase, and battle (observer or participation). Add-ons are available à la carte if you purchase a single-day or workshop-only pass.
American Conventions usually have 10-11 workshops, why does Vision only have 8?
At Vision, we prioritize quality over quantity. While many conventions squeeze in 10+ one-hour classes, we listened to our dancers feedback and opted for a different format to support them.
Our 8 workshops are each 1.5 hours long giving you 12 hours of training (not including the audition class).
This extended format allows you to dive deeper into the material, dance the choreography more in groups, and retain more.
What is the Audition Class?
The Audition Class is an advanced level workshop where dancers learn choreography from one of our international choreographers, just like a real industry audition.
It’s your chance to challenge yourself, perform in front of a panel, and possibly be selected to perform in the choreographer’s piece at the Vision Showcase. Whether or not you’re chosen, it’s an incredible experience to push your limits and get seen.
Is the event accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Yes. The Sheraton Laval is fully accessible, with elevators, ramps, accessible restrooms, and wide corridors. Our team is always available if additional assistance is needed.
I have a physical condition or limitation. Can I still participate in the classes?
Yes. All dancers are welcome to participate. You are encouraged to modify or adapt the choreography in any way that allows you to take part comfortably and safely. Our choreographers and staff fully support this and can offer suggestions or variations if needed.
